Knowledge Is Power Program Selects Xert CM, SF Applications
08.06.2002 - Alexandria, VA Xert Communications, a leader in web-based communications software today announced that KIPP, the Knowledge is Power Program, has selected Xert’s Contact Management and Sales Force software to organize and manage outbound communications and contact management.
The integration of Xert’s Sales Force and Contact Manager applications with KIPPs other enterprise systems will provide a fully automated, full-cycle system to distribute, report and measure communications and contacts across many regional offices and nationwide school system.
“I am very pleased to extend Xert’s engagement in the not-for-profit market with the Knowledge Is Power Program,” said Dave Battaglini, CEO of Xert Communications. “Its important to understand that communicating with an organization’s stakeholders isn’t always about selling; it’s about building and constantly developing relationships, and that’s exactly where Xert strives to help our customers.”
One of the powerful features of the Xert Suite software is its 100% web-based architecture, enabling extremely fast and direct deployment across the enterprise, while still connecting to multiple back-office systems. Since KIPP has many locations across the country, the Xert Suite provides them with a single application to manage, not hundreds of separate copies to install, maintain and update.
Xert SF and Xert CM are part of the Xert infrastructure suite, a powerful application set that streamlines critical business processes and integrates the results into enterprise web, intranet and extranet sites. In addition to internal management of these processes, the suite connects and broadcasts information externally to a company’s stakeholder network: customers, partners, the public and other business enablers, providing an unparalleled, comprehensive business communications platform.
Xert’s infrastructure suite’s interconnected modules for Contact Management, Sales and Marketing, Public Relations and Hiring enable workflow-based, real-time information management and dissemination. The suite provides near-immediate return on investment by increasing revenue and reducing operating costs.
About the Knowledge Is Power Program
With initial backing from the founders of the Gap, Doris and Donald Fisher, KIPP is a national, non-profit organization that trains and supports school leaders to open and run high performing public schools. KIPP Schools provide educationally underserved students with the knowledge, skills, and character needed to succeed in top quality high schools, colleges, and the competitive world beyond.
KIPP students have achieved tremendous academic success since the first school was founded in 1994: consistently scoring high on state standardized tests, earning over $15 million in scholarship awards, and being admitted to many of the top college preparatory high schools in the country. With five established KIPP Schools and ten new schools opening this summer, KIPP is quickly proving that hard work and commitment to excellence can make a huge difference in the lives of children across the United States. www.kipp.org
